Firepit and Barbeque
- For the cave dweller in all of us, there is an understood but rarely explained need to set a collection of twigs and wood on fire and sit around it. This is often accompanied by the sharing of food and drink, which seems invariable to encourage conversation, laughter, and a general sense of well-being. Understanding this, a fire pit made of the shale stone found on the property has been built. Set just behind the hay bale chook house, it affords a vast and, for some, breathtaking view of the east valley, farmlands, tiny furry dots representing sheep and cattle.
- If you like your Barbeques hardcore and back to basics, we have also provided a grill to go over the pit on which you may cook food.
- That said, you might like a bit more control over your cooking and for this, a Gas barbeque has been provided in the same area so you can be both a cave dweller and master chef.
